When To Go

Two seasons, two kinds of magic

June – October

Dry Season

Vegetation thins and wildlife gathers near permanent water sources, making game viewing especially rewarding. Widely considered the classic safari season, with clear skies and comfortable daytime temperatures.

November – May

Green Season

Rains bring lush landscapes, newborn wildlife, and excellent birdwatching. Fewer crowds and lower rates at many camps make this a rewarding time to travel, with short, predictable afternoon showers.
